It relies less on smaller boxes which can be challenging to mouse through with the cursor and adds a larger background field which permits more options than the previous menu. In general this newer menu should allow visitors to quickly access the images and information that interest them most.<br /><br />Photography News:<br />Early August of this year I submitted five images for a photo contest at Ridgefield NWR (<a href="http://www.ridgefieldfriends.org/">Friends of Ridgefield</a>) and recently got a call that one of those images placed in their annual contest! I'm not sure what place the image earned but will find out on Oct 10th, 2009 when they are officially announced during the <a href="http://www.ridgefieldfriends.org/birdfestandbluegrass.html">Birdfest and Bluegrass Festival</a>. The images are shown below (click for larger version), image number 5 (Savannah Sparrows on Teazle) is the one that placed in the contest.
